Time Ambassador guide
Amazon handles approval, tracking and payment

Promote Time with your own Amazon account.

The former Time commission scheme has been retired. People who want to promote the book can instead apply directly to Amazon Associates, create their own tracked links and receive any qualifying commission from Amazon.

The independent route

How to get started

01

Choose your Amazon programme

Apply to the Amazon Associates programme for the marketplace where your audience normally shops. Amazon—not Thomas or YAK Agents—reviews every application.

02

Wait for Amazon's decision

Amazon decides whether your website, app or social presence qualifies. Acceptance and earnings are never guaranteed by the Time team.

03

Create your own link

Once accepted, use Amazon's own linking tools to make a Special Link to Time using your personal tracking ID. Amazon then handles attribution and payment.

Before sharing a link

Follow Amazon's rules and keep promotion honest.

Use only the tagged Special Link supplied through your own approved Amazon Associates account.

Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship. Amazon requires an Associate disclosure, and local advertising rules may require a prominent “Ad” label.

Never promise results, pressure anyone to buy, create artificial traffic or make misleading claims about the book.

Never offer a reward for a rating or review. Reviews must remain voluntary and honest.

Do not claim that you represent Thomas Murphy, Austin Macauley Publishers or Amazon.

Official Amazon sign-up pages

Choose the marketplace your audience uses.

Amazon operates separate programmes by marketplace. You may need more than one account if you promote to audiences who shop on different Amazon country sites.

These links go directly to Amazon. Time by Thomas Murphy does not review applications, see Amazon orders or control Amazon's commission decisions.
